He is so patient. . . In most of his interviews he gets asked the same tedious questions; about his father's work, his death, his relationship with him, his training in martial arts. . . He always held himself so well and tried to remain calm and assertive. He was so beautiful, both in looks and on the inside and incredibly sharp. We love you Brandon, we miss you x X

I feel like all of his interviews leading up to the crow is soooo sad because of how so excited he was about it... to him it was a movie to get out of his father’s shadow and would have really put himself into a household name(I really believe that) but it was the movie that ended his life... it’s just really sad and tragic to think about it RIP Brandon Lee 😭❤️❤️
@melissawright19793 жыл бұрын
This is why, although it makes me sad, I am very glad that The Crow was his final movie. Like you said, it was his break out role, it truly showed how talented he was and I couldn't think of anyone else who could have played the part better.

@@melissawright1979 at first they wanted Johnny depp to play the part but he busy of course… then Christian slater and but they really really wanted river Phoenix ironically he died like a couples of months after Brandon in the same year… but still u right I can’t imagine anyone else playing that part not even the biggest names in Hollywood at that time… it’s just all sad though 💔💔💔

Did you see the interview where he talks about death? How has thoughts about it, and how he tries to live every day, like it’s his last day. He speaks as if he’s in his 40’s or 50’s. He also talks about having thoughts about times when he was a child. He’s wise beyond his years. His thoughts are like the ones I have now, in my 50’s. I never thought like that in my 20’s.

@@nitro_001newman2 I'm not sure if I have seen that specific interview. I have watched so many but I will completely agree from the ones I have seen, that he was absolutely an "old soul". I mean he was funny and charming but as you said, he just had wisdom beyond his 20s.

“Jim Morrison hasn’t done that (return from the dead) yet”. Brandon, laughing: “So far as we know!” Perhaps he was (partly) channeling Jim during The Crow (1994), like that brief moment in The Lost Boys (1987) when an image of Jim’s face (from a giant poster in the vampire’s cave) is overlaid onto the (pre-vamp) face of Jason Patric; a film which also featured a cover of The Doors’ People Are Strange. Two great, perhaps immortal films, though The Crow, notably Brandon’s performance, moves me far more.

The same can be said of his father, Bruce Lee, who was a global phenomenon before his untimely and freakish death in 1973. On a recent podcast for the Bruce Lee organization, that Shannon only runs, she says he didn’t pick up Kung Fu again until he was 19. Here Brandon says he was 13. I wish that we had some clarification as to when he picked up. I mean he clearly has a fluidity that seems as though he was training all of his life. But there’s a conflicting timeline between brother and sister, and I would love to know when he started. I like to go with what he says because I think he would know better.
