The whole Dark-Light-Dark scene actually makes sense to me. Thanks to my Aussie dad, I've had the chance to stay in the outback, (and thanks to my Canadian mum also the outskirts of Canada,) and if you go from a well lit location to one not so lit, it may actually seem brighter because of the stars, and when you go back darker again. As always thank you so very much for the videos. And if you ever get a chance to visit the 5-star restaurant (with one wall and no ceiling) near Uluru I highly recommend it. Not only is the food wonderful, but when then turn off the lights, OMG the stars! From horizon to horizon wherever you look!

Maybe it's because of The Road Warrior, but there is something about scenes of people driving thru the Australian countryside that immediately brings on feelings of dread. It's as if any person you run inro could be the last person on earth you want to meet. It's kind of the same with movies here in America; Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Deliverance, Wrong Turn. I guess there's just a primal fear that comes from traveling thru unfamiliar territory.
