@15:00 I remember thinking the Harry Potter phenomenon was silly and made fun of a friend for liking it though admittedly I didn't know much about it. I refused to read any of the books (i think only 4 was out at the time and I was past teenage years). It wasn't until meeting a 40+ something gentleman half way across the globe that was reading a HP book and recommended them, that I decided to give the books a chance.

An A- for The Way of Kings? Come on teach ... that's a AAA+++. Also, fascinating to hear the inspirational origins of Aon Dor from Elantris in the graphic script of middle ages Korea. Brandon is not only a great novelist story teller, he could give the old spoken word Irish story tellers of the ancient Celtic Lore stories a run for their money in terms of story telling.
