they all want the fullback ,or halves or hooker money even if its not there best position ,Val Holmes had same issue ,he wanted the fullback cash ,but he was just ok at fullback.The wombat is an ok dummy half ,but i think hes doing it because he prob makes more cash at hooker over hes career then being a backrower or a player coming of the bench .even Lattrel hes prob a better centre then he is a fullback lets be honest ,him at the roosters on the left there he had more impact then he even does now ,but diffrence is Latrell is also a really good fullback,i dont think wombat has same impact at 9 as he would at 13,if i was roosters ild give him the 13 jersey and put the experiment down as a fail .but they prob wont

Brandon performed his best work when he was Lock and slipped into dummy half when the opposition were tired towards the end of each half. Or when he came off the bench fully fresh while opponents were tired. He is a good hooker is small bursts, but better suited towards lock. That's why Harry Grant got the 9 instead of him, because Harry is a much better 80 minute hooker, that is not to say that Brandon is a bad player because he certainly isn't and can have massive impact on games, but I'd rather have him as a utility Lock/Bench player that can jump into hooker for brief periods to inject some energy into the match, rather than have him as an 80min hooker. When we had Cam/Harry at 9 and Brandon at 13/bench it was awesome, we had so much utility in the side, we could move the chess pieces around, especially when Nicho was there too. 2020 was probably Storm's best ever year, 2021 was phenomenal too, we were dominant those two years, in both attack and defence we were near unbeatable. Now we are a shell of our former selves, struggling against sides like Dogs, Titans, Manly, Broncos with no Reynolds nearly beat us, Dolphins.......

He would have been better staying put and having an actual impact....instead of playing the most boring football I've ever seen. It is nice to watch the roosters lose.....but cheese couldn't wait to win a premiership with them - maybe he should lower his expectations and just try to win some games with them instead.

The "cheese" back on the media again-no surprise there. Great guy and very entertaining on air but no matter the excuses so far a complete failure at Chookies who must be wondering if the $800k investment is not an error. He can be used like Bellyache did as an impact power player at 13 but that is hardly a $800k position. Chookies can be ruthless with under performing players so watch this space.

Brandon Smith IS the tough adjustment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 roosters for the first time tried to BUY talent players and not CULTURE players, and they'll keep losing if they're gonna use a Lock at dummy half 🤣🤣

Brandon is good at 9 when injected for brief periods when the opposition is tired, either coming off the bench or sometimes from Lock. It worked for Storm, it could work for the Chooks.
