What a shame and sad it will be gone. A beauty in it's day and we can still see that beauty. Thanks for letting us be a tiny part of it's history. (That was a sewing machine in the barn/garage by the rocking chair, not a desk. That's why you couldn't get it opened.)

Hello Brandon! Great place but so sad. I don’t like when developers buy these houses just to tear it down. These houses have character and the new houses do not. The piece of furniture out in the barn you thought was a table was a sewing cabinet. Very nice one. I had one years ago. Can’t believe all this stuff has been left behind. Thanks for sharing your explore. Take care.😊❤

Beautiful home, & perfect setting, away from people. Shame that the people left, must have received a couple of million dollars, to just leave everything. Also shame on these people for selling to developers, to build more homes, & shopping malls, then cry when they see wildlife animals in their yards.

23:41 Those are cedar closets. Cedar naturally repels moths. Couldn't you smell the woody scent they give off? These people made sure to pay for all the important upgrades. I've always wanted a solarium. It's tragic to see their version smashed by ignorance.
@wondergranny22999 ай бұрын
Those "quilts" are crocheted afgans. Since the place is gonna be razed anyway, you might as well take those afgans home with you. Wash em on gentle cycle in warm water, dry on low--medium heat. Good as new.

@Jennifermcintyre9 ай бұрын
Ugh. I hated typing class but always wished I had gotten good at it! Kids now days have no idea how good they have it. Voice to text, google to find everything without having to go to the library card catalog to find a book to search for that information. Hell now they can have a computer use CHAT GPT to write an entire paper by plugging in some keywords. 🤦♀️ I’d still use a typewriter just for its novelty if I had one.

How sad that they’d remove a beautiful home from the registry because of cosmetic changes… if it was to repair damage.. it’s simply impossible to find craftsman who could replicate a lot of the original design. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some 💰💸🤑 motivation for it to be removed and made available for developers.

Sad this beautiful home is being torn down and so many good and useful things just thrown away, especially personal items. Guess I'll never understand how this works and how people can leave so much behind. It's not like they aren't paid way more money than the place is worth most of the time and should be able to afford moving everything. If they didn't want it, then donate it. Great video as usual but try and not give away too much about the place to keep the people just waiting to go steal from places like this.

At 12:43 see in the box "Diablo", a PC game. Physical copies are something to hang onto these days ! If the place is being torn down maybe it's OK to take it ? No ?? Another reason physical copies of PC games are good is recently Steam told customers that they do NOT own the games they pay for !! Imagine, you pay full price like $89 for Starfield and if you passed you are not allowed to give your collection to a family member ! This is so wrong.
