Alright, still following your videos going to work on the Vrod tomarrow. My question, did you smell any gas when running before you fixed the issue? Mine usually smells like gas when running at a stop light but leaks oil.
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
Definitely not. You might have a fuel vent vacuum leak or a lose fuel line.
@HonestWarrior2 жыл бұрын
@@BrandonBicasso That was my initial thought but if it were fuel I'm sire it would be spraying. Took it to the harley dealer they said it was from the airbox leaking. Not sure 🤔

Hi, can you please tell me what is this stand you are using?
Don’t use brake cleaner on those connectors though. It dries out the seals. Use Red Rubber grease on them if you did use brake cleaner. Wait until you try a Lithium Ion battery. SO MUCH LIGHTER. :)
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
Fair point! It should be alright this go around. Using it to clean the plastic pieces. You’d have to remove the seal and pull the wires out for a full cleaning. That’s more work than I was willing to do. 😂
@jasonshortphd2 жыл бұрын
@@BrandonBicasso oh I don’t blame you. I use a degreaser on them. Not as quick as brake cleaner. But easier on the seals.
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
@@jasonshortphd which degreaser? I was originally gonna use purple power until a few people mentioned I shouldn’t because it would ruin the polished finished. Used it on my calipers and it cleaned them fine. 🧐
@jasonshortphd2 жыл бұрын
@@BrandonBicasso I don’t remember the name, but it is from Meguir’s and has a motorcycle on the front of it. Just a general purpose cleaner / degreaser. I wouldn’t use a harsh engine degreaser for cars, probably would damage the finish.
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
@@jasonshortphd ah, perfect. I use a lot of their detailing products.

Hey brother can you give me the part number for that front breather hose o ring… or does it come with the hose as well?
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
29504-05B. Use Ronnie Harley Davidson online part finder. I think that part number is discontinued. The o-ring was separate.
