Just got mine today, it WORKS ...!!! It works if you get the throttle to hold speed AND you get this positioned right. It held for 7 miles before i had to step for a red light but i was amazed that it worked. It took a bit to get it down but it does work !!!

Solid value for the money. Anyone that’s done any distance knows how good a little relief can boost morals and rider comfort
@theunknown45702 жыл бұрын
I'm a harsh skeptic. But got it and just tried it. it goes on and works like it says. Although it wont set you in easily at a fine pin point speed every time and you do have to fiddle with it. Overall. I can see this working just fine on a straight long road where i just need to get relief off the throttle hand for a few miles. For the price. Seems like a very good deal.

Nice review mate - thanks for sharing. Mine arrived a while back, but I didn't get round to fitting it. Basically the same as yours, so your practical insights are useful - got a long trip tomorrow so needed a quick heads up to whether worth fitting before I set off. Looks like it is. Cheers.

I just picked up an '86 Suzuki Calvacade with 14000 miles on it. I had one similar back in 1990, but it was the deluxe version, with cruise and a great sound system. This one has a radio and 8 track, and not cruise. So I'm looking into what to use. I have a Breakaway on my 2001 Intruder, but that's expensive and comes with it's own problems. This might be something I try out. Thanks.

I fitted one of these to my FZ07. It was cheap and I have arthritis in my R hand, so...... After a couple of long rides, I'm not sure these things are safe. I have heated grips and this lock struggles to maintain a set speed, as it slips and I'm reluctant to reef it down as I could break the thin mylar heater. I was riding in torrential ran alone, turned on a bend, Stop light !. I got it unlocked in time, but it was quite frightening. Think I'll look for something else

I'm glad I happened across this video. I just bought a maxi scooter and there was one of these (a different brand) under the seat. I had no idea what it was for until now. LOL. It should come in even handier with a scooter (no clutch) which has excellent engine braking as mine does. You don't even have the option of taking your hand off the throttle for just a few seconds while clutching. Add to that I have carpal tunnel in my hands, so CC will help a lot. Ride safe!

Since your on the topic of creature comfort and peace of mind gadgets... have u ever used a tired plug kit with a nos charge?.... I've been meaning to practice/simulate fixing a road side flat , so if it happen, it won't be first day of differential equations. Have u done a video on that yet? I don't have a tire in bad enough shape laying around to put a hole in... u have a boss, so maybe u have a used 240 collection! Lol. and I don't wanna do it on a car tire as it may not be 1:1. I wanna ride to atl instead of driving there every weekend... but I keep thinking I'm not prepared if I don't have tire repair experience. I was gonna carry an air pump, but I was made aware of these air charges. Also do u have AAA or emergency support via your Insurance? I'm a have to do something so I feel better about going beyond 150 minutes from the house. OK enough questions..lol
@BrandonBicasso4 жыл бұрын
I haven't plugged a tire in years, lol. I had one on my first bike but I wasn't out in the road. Had a rubber tire plug that you stab into the tire. After I plugged it, added air and was good to go. It lasted that way for several thousand miles until the tire got bald in that spot and the plug shot out while out riding. I rode home on a flat 😂.

A girl saying NO when asking for phone number... that's why i been giving my email Addy out since 1999 freshman year. Idont care if u dont email me, But i cant get ya number shorty ?.... DAGGER Lol 2. Being stranded in the south with no friends to call on. done watched too many eps of eyes on the prize and Mississippi burning.
