Just one more thing, during the Tangled sequence, who else heard A Whole New World playing in harmony with I See the Light? That particular section to me was the most shattering. I instantly began to shed a few tears. I find the fact that they mixed these two master pieces of songs is what makes this show so different and unique. I honestly cannot get over the fact of how brilliant this show is!

Words cannot describe how I felt watching the show! I cried so many times, I chuckled so many times, and I was breathless entirely watching the full show! I loved how Tink's flight was saved towards the finale. It felt much more appropriate. I am so proud of the imagineers behind this treasure of a show. Truly outdid themselves with this one!

I just saw the show yesterday and words cannot describe the nostalgia that hit me watching this. My mom cried dancing with Mickey, but I cried just seeing how much Disney has grown since the 30's and it amazes me that one man dreamed of such an inspiring vision! In other words, I was happy to see and experience everything that the Magic Kingdom had to offer :)

Oh man... I'm so conflicted. On one hand i'm going to miss the Wishes night time show, I've been to magic kingdom every year since I was little and have so many good memories from watching that show. On the other hand I love that they have taken some of my favourite Disney songs and created a fireworks show. I am excited to see this show in person this year and see if it lives up to my expectations.

Before a couple weeks ago I had only been to Disney World twice. I can't remember either time because I was way too young. I got to pick where I wanted to go for my graduation trip this year and I picked Disney World. I've been begging for it for years and I finally got to go back. I'm obsessed with Disney, I have all the movies, know all the songs, and spend hours looking up useless Disney facts to memorize online. I never technically got to experience the original Wishes, but when I went and saw the new show I cried like a baby. Hearing how far I'll go, and go the distance, and my personal favorite, I see the light in person IN Disney World a place I've dreamed of revisiting for most of my teenage years is unlike anything else. Idk if I just don't understand because I never saw the original Wishes in person, but I have no idea how anything could top the emotion I felt standing in front of Cinderella's Castle watching the new show in person. I love Disney and there's nothing else like it out there! The new show is amazing!

I do still really love Wishes, still my favourite - it just really pulled on my heart strings and made me tear up whereas this one just made me smile - however I did enjoy it a lot. I loved to see Moana & Toy Story but I would've have liked to see the classics a bit more because I follow the whole history with Walt I find it interesting and I think it would have been good to give Snow White, Cinderella, sleeping beauty & Peter Pan bigger segments, but a change is always nice. The Graphics on the castle and the bright fireworks were amazing. I'm coming in couple of weeks and I cannot wait to see it properly. Other thoughts?X

Wow! The new light effects are great Seeing this show, I see the new Disney's era. More technology and more "stimulus" in the new shows and attractions, with more 'things' happening and a 'less emotional' atmosphere. I know a lot of people will love the new show, while some of the "classic" disney guests will miss "Wishes" with its deep sentimental atmosphere. And this is a time that wll never returns.

Jordan R Wishes bored the crap out of me. I'm glad it's gone. Disneyland has had far superior fireworks since 2005. I'd say this beats any of DL's fireworks, though. Now hopefully DL will get a new show!

Each section is a chapter. 1 - Find your own story . 2 - The journey and adventure. 3 - The power of friendship. 4 - love. 5 - Fighting adversity. 6 Heroism. 7 - Make your own happily ever after. First: How is it worse than wishes? It has a better story, Better effects and even more fireworks than before. It even has a better message getting across and is better to go home after. Second: Did you even watch it in person? You cant judge a book by its cover. It is better in person and more magical than wishes. Finally: How did wishes top this? This takes almost all of wishes elements, puts it on steroids, and multiplies it by 10 Can you answer those few questions for me? I'm missing how you don't like it. If you're going to criticize be constructive with it and point out why you don't like whatever you are criticizing.

I dont like new Disney movies I think they are very cheesy. This show is cheesy to me. Wishes had a great message and classic songs. My favorite character in any Disney movie is Jiminy Cricket. It's biased but it's my opinion.

repr26 Do you not see the innovation? Then again, no video can ever do the show justice. Outside of "Disneyland Forever", it's one of the most immersive shows I've seen, due to the added projections on the outside turrets, the lighting effects surrounding the central plaza, and the new pyrotechnics. (There'll be more videos showing that eventually) I can understand why you're apprehensive - yes, Walt created Main Street with a hint of nostalgia in mind, but seeing as he wasn't a nostalgic person in general... and take a look at all the other Disney castle parks. While we've been on the same wavelength since 2003, they've been constantly redefining their kisses goodnight, ESPECIALLY Disneyland. It was time for us to change with it; and it's obvious that they weren't gonna half-ass it, seeing as Wishes was so beloved. While the last show taught us to believe in our wishes, this show said "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them." (-Walt Disney) Context. Don't like it? Don't have to see it. But you're in the minority, just saying.

+Mike Parson I follow most of the blogs, and forums. The only people who seem to truly be in love with this new show are the "minority " of people who live within 60 miles of the park. That's the same crowd that's constantly complaining about how old and awful the park is. Well God bless you for being able to go every day, the rest of use are the ones who actually pay the bills by staying at the resorts and buying daily admission tickets. It would be nice if we could see a show or attraction more than twice with out having to wonder if Disney is going to decide to give into the restless locals just to shut them up, and bulldoze or delete something that the rest of tbe world plans their dream vacations around seeing.
