I always wondered why orcs have bigger lower fangs and smaller upper fangs. Its the opposite with humans.

I like it because you can clearly hear there are synths used for the orchestrals. It adds to the mystery unlike all the extremely realistic orchestral instruments game developers use these days which takes all the mystery away. These synthesizer esque orchestral sounds give a more staccato sound which makes it even better suited for orc themes for example

And behold, I saw an army of horrid beasts, grey and green skin, fiery eyes, sharp teeth, clad in crud armor and with insatiable blood lust, marching through the meadows, with smokes of sacked villages and towns, with heads of those brave enough to stand ground against them impaled on the pikes, with women and children shackled in chains led to fate worse than death. They marched towards the settlements of Men, Dwarfs and Elves, taking what they need and destroying what they deemed useless. They were but pawns in chess game played by Chthonic Gods to retake what they deemed taken from them before the first High Elves set foot on the land.

I've looked over the armor, its not crude, simply meant to allow them to move light on their feet. Their tactics when using the armor is more about placing it on areas that allow them to block attacks. Like how you would block a punch with a wrist, but put armor on that and it can block a sword. And they actually let most villagers live if they just surrender on sight, but don't be fooled. This isn't out of the goodness of their hearts, its so that they can produce something for them to rob next time. A lot can change in one's perception when they look into it a little further. Still a good historic eye witness observation.
I absolutely love this one. Did you make these? If I ever have the money and skill to make my own anime can I use your music in them? It's doubtful I ever will and if I do I'll probably just put it on youtube for free. But if I ever so can I use your music in it and if I make money I'll pay you for the music. Your music inspires me to make an anime but I don't own all of the ideas.

Brandon Fiechter Well what I was thinking about doing is making a cross between Final Fantasy and Dragon ball Z. But I am afraid the characters will be to close to the Final Fantasy characters to make money. If they sew me it would be ironic since the Japanese does not own Greek mythology. If I just put it on youtube can I use your music for free? If I make money of it I don't think it's fair not to pay you. If it's on youtube for free maybe I can just credit you in a disclaimer. And again I'm just learning how to draw this probably wont happen. Making a cartoon seems like a lot of work. I just feel like since I imagined the whole thing maybe others would like to see it too.
@BrandonFiechter10 жыл бұрын
George Louis I know I would probably like to see it. If you put it on youtube for free, then you may use my music for free. I hope you work on it. It seems like a good idea. :)
@georgelouis651510 жыл бұрын
Honest I vividly imagine it over and over again. I'll try to draw it but my hands just can't draw what my mind sees. Also I don't think my computer can handle the task so I don't know what I'm going to do. But I would really like others to see it. It's Dragon Ball Z and Inuyasha good. If I can draw that good that is lol.

In daylight, one regular warrior or strong man may be able to face an Orc. In night time, even the bravest of warriors have trouble. For not only are they stronger, they shall appear more numerous also. It is daylight as slows Orcs down and makes them weaker. They are the demons of night; monsters told in stories to scare children, cruel pawns of the Dark Lord, tortured and mutilated into darkness, a mock of Morgoth toward the Elves. For Elves they once were, taken by the Dark One to be twisted into the hideous cruel creature, the Yrch (Orc).

hello Brandon, i tried using your song (this one in particular), and the youtube said that it matched third party content, i did put your name and your brother's in front of the video, for full credit of the music. Is there anything you can do to help me on this? I really liked to use you and your brother's music for most of my videos, and i don't want to swap them with other music, because it already fits the video. Thanks in advance
@BrandonFiechter10 жыл бұрын
Milko Gaming Well, I'm not entirely sure what to do about this, though I think if you acknowledge the third party content, it should let you to be able to monetize your video (if you are monetizing it) and have your video running. KZbin can be rather frustrating at times ... I hope that solves your problem. And if not, I hope you can get it sorted out soon. :)

Not your traditional image of an orc army, but I feel like this would be even more intimidating: The soldiers in the service of the orc Empire marched forward in ranks, shields held in front of them, helmets and chest plates shining in the sun, swords and spears at the ready. Up ahead, the humans prepared to defend their village. As they got closer, the orcs' rhythmic march became more of a steady jog. Finally, their lines clashed with the human defenders, who tried to fight back only to be bashed in the face by the shields of the orcs and then stabbed or slashed by their swords and spears. Though brave, the human warriors were pushed backward by the onslaught of the green-skinned legionnaires, until finally the orcs had penetrated too far to be driven out. Dismounting from his horse, the orcs' grim, cruel-faced commander rounded up the remaining defenders, turned to their leader, and said, "You shall be slaughtered in the morning as a warning to those who would dare defy the orc Empire!" A monstrous cheer rose from the triumphant soldiers as the surviving humans of this town realized that they had well and truly been conquered.
@BrandonFiechter8 жыл бұрын
+Eric Naylor Thanks for writing that! Yes, that would definitely be intimidating and fits the orc mindset very well.
@Stardweller18 жыл бұрын
+Brandon Fiechter Thanks. I was mainly going off of the story I'm writing, and in that story I decided to change things up a bit where the orcs are concerned: instead of making them a mindless rabble of blood-crazed monsters, I modeled them more off of the ancient Romans (hence my reference to an Empire). It's different from how they're usually shown, but I thought it would almost make them more dangerous because they're more disciplined, better equipped, more prone to strategy - but every bit as warlike.
@frankg27908 жыл бұрын
Here is a non-traditional image of an orc army that fits into an epic saga that a village elder is retelling: Hokur Doram, chieftain of The Zoshk Shielduk, arrayed his brave soldiers in a phalanx, the light of the barely visible sun shining off polished bronze shields and armor, pikes and swords at the ready. On the other side of the windswept fields, the Baavavle Maukaveruk was charging at the wall of shields and pikes, howls and chants echoing through Secreav Valleausan as they got closer, the rusted armor sticking out like a sore thumb, their spears and battleaxes dented and chipped by constant battle with the smaller tribes of orcs that stood between Akul Fuadh and Secreav Valleausan. The brutish and fearsome warriors smashed into the phalanx like a tidal wave, only to be impaled on a pike or hacked to pieces by the swords of their opponents. With defeat inevitable and knowing that his bodyguards would tear him to shreds if he fled the battlefield, Gloriouuk Vicavorausan, the warlord who had led the Baavavle Maukaveruk to the homeland of their ancient rivals, rallied his routing army for one last stand and charged into the center of the enemy phalanx, roaring like a dragon as his warriors slammed into the enemy ranks like an avalanche. Seeing his soldiers being slaughtered by the Immoravaluk, the heavily armored bodyguards of Gloriouuk Vicavorausan, Hokur Doram ordered his men to advance on the enemy, the Zoshk Shielduk showing no mercy or pity towards their foes. Atop the mound of corpses that had grown large as the bloody battle progressed, Zoshk Shielduk and Gloriouuk Vicavorausan fought a brutal and merciless battle, the bronze shield being dented and cracked by repeated blows from the warlord's rusty mace, bones breaking and wounds bleeding as the two leaders parried the weapon of their opponent until Hokur Doram impaled his enemy's jugular with a pike that had been broken in half by a Baavavle Maukaveruk battleax, the deceased warlord collapsing as a river of blood sluggishly flowed from his wound.
@Stardweller18 жыл бұрын
Frank G Well done.
@frankg27908 жыл бұрын
***** Thanks. I based the Zoshk Shielduk off of the Spartans of Ancient Greece in order to differentiate them from the rest of the orc tribes in the Far North (the desolate tundra where giants, dragons, orcs, goblins, and beholders live). They need a disciplined army and a militarized society (the two attributes that make them civilized compared to other orc tribes) because Secreav Valleausan (the only part of the Far North that has a stable food supply) is surrounded by orc tribes that would gladly kill for a valley that fertile.
