Jiinx, you have awesome parents! 👍I grew up in the 80's and remember vividly watching Quarter Flash in 1982 on Solid Gold (a music TV program back in the day). The song was a huge success on the radio. If you haven't, then you might like some of Ozzy Osbourne's early 80's albums like, Bark at the Moon from 1984, Speak of the Devil, Blizzard of Oz. Iron Maiden is another awesome band and so is Megadeth. I listened to those mainly on cassette tapes since that's all we had before the internet era. We had CD's too, but not your average kid back then could afford them. It's awesome that your loving the music we experienced and loved dearly! I was never much into alternative music in the 1990's since it didn't appeal to me. I was a metal head, and my tastes are geared around the early Goth bands nowadays like Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Midnight Syndicate, who are from the latter 90's era. 🦇🙂

The beautiful Rindy Ross on alto saxophone. Formerly known as Seafood Mama, she and husband Marv Ross (guitar) were the nucleus of Quarterflash from Portland. "Take Me To Heart" is another good one.

They still play out as Seafood Mama from time to time, I saw them in '11 at PPAC and they were awesome. It made her blush but I have to say she still looked great, she'll be 70 this year!
