This performance is so clean and perfect you would almost swear it was an overdub BUT IT'S NOT! This is from the old days. There is no autotune or any other tricks beyond what everyone did at that time with pedals and such. They were very underrated. One of those bands that they were playing in the record store. I had never heard them before and I walked out with the album under my arm.

I'm a fan of the band & still have their debut on vinyl from waaay back then. However...listen carefully to the backing vocals (in headphones if possibile). Either they have been re-recorded, or they have been judiciously supplemented with extra parts in the studio after the fact. It's quite possible that some of the lead vox were as well.
@ericrobertson2024 Жыл бұрын
@@derekbaker3279 The song Valerie is the studio version,so apparently they flubbed it live...odd since they usually improved it live..The other tracks may have polish but they are technically live..

so true i was sitting here listening and was thinking if they just had some bigger hist and more of them they could of been up their with fleetwood mac and not looked like a punk rocker band they did have a couple really good songs but a couple wernt enough to bad they couldnt come out or retirement and explode on the scene with some rocking hits like we had in the 70's and 60's dont get me wrong alot of hits in the 80's were great also but this woman had a great voice and could of gave the other lead lady singers a run for the money even Ann Wilson
