It's christ pratt. Let's be honest here he isn't even trying, the voice is just so iconic and recognized that when he slightly changes his tone, people don't know it's him. It happen with mario where he only changed like 2 or 3 lines and nothing else because of that. But hey its my opinion and yeah he should maybe sound more relaxed and less energetic to sound like garfield a bit more, I personally like the voice on garfield since it fits him the best (sorta)

@@conit4125 Remember Garfields lazy attitude was designed for the comic strip. It transfers well into a show, but it's not very easy to transfer well into movie formate. So maybe the writer is slightly changing the character??? Chris kinda sounds like a younger more energetic Lorenzo.

Eh, I'm gonna make a counterargument. I'll give you that Chris really wasn't the best choice for our lasagna loving hairball, but given that some of the famous characters we know of having their own iterations (The Mystery Inc gang, some Marvel characters, etc.), it was only a matter of time before we got someone like Chris Pratt giving Garfield a modern day update for older fans and younger viewers. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did a kid version of Garfield in the future.
