I can't believe that all the reviews from this gimbal are from people that don't go out of their office/studio. This is better than a review, real shots, real results, good explanation, this is video is gold.

Hey Brandon, my RS4 was delivered Saturday. Complete newbie to videography. Decent in photography. Your videos have got me moving forward faster, and I feel like you explain your reasons clearly and with a pragmatic approach. Thank you times infinity. I'm shooting on Sony a7iv and 24-70mm GMII, and you've been answering a ton of my questions.

😂😂 it's great as DJI seems to bring out a gimble every year. Witch means the other ones drop in price. Just got a RC2 for £200 😂😂 thing is won't need another gimble until it breaks down and you then probably be able to buy the RC4 for the same price. Watching Brandon using his gimble is why I only get the DJI. He really is the God of Gimbles

Man, this is absolutely awesome! Seeing you explain all the settings, features and techniques while actually executing them to get some awesome shots like that is truly astonishing. Exactly what I've been looking for! I am just getting into cinematography and want a versatile gimbal that can handle my photo gear for video (a7RV + a bunch of primes). The RS 4 Combo is probably a bit more than I need starting out, but I'm a big fan of buying gear I can grow into, rather than growing out of it too quickly.

Great video and great camera work. I bought an open box one from Best Buy and ended up returning it. I think a lot of it was just user error or maybe because I was trying to use longer lenses and I couldn’t get it balanced properly. But it kept drifting, right or leftin unexpected ways. When I would try to turn the gimbal. I may research more and re-buy it at some point.

Gimbals have a lot of quirks. If it’s your first gimbal you’ll need to learn more about proper balancing and avoiding drift

Hi Brandon. Thank you for such inspirational content. While I really like the gimbal moves a lot, I fight like mad with the temporal resolution of 24fps. Watching on a large screen is distracting for me, probably because I’m SO sensitive to judder on shots where things move across the lens. Shots where you move depth in and out don’t give the judder, just left/right and up/down movement. I went to the cinema last weekend and the continual judder totally distracted me from the film. There were quite a lot of fast pans in it. So for me, it’s a continuing battle with frame rate, where I really like the look of 24fps when the camera is still but can’t stand pans or fast movement. It’s not a shutter speed thing because I’ve even resorted to 360 degree shutter in an attempt to lose judder but it doesn’t always work. 30fps also gives judder; just quicker. It’s so annoying when you are so sensitive to it. All 24fps, 25fps videos can really distract me. I wish that I could ‘unsee’ it, but I can’t!
@BrandonLiUnscripted7 ай бұрын
24p is the standard frame rate for all films and narrative tv & streaming. If you prefer the look of 30p or 60p, then I suggest turning on motion smoothing on your TV and avoiding cinemas.

I bought the RS3 when it came out, and since I always been very disappointed when looking at my files on the computer after days of shoot... I always notice this weird wobble coming from the Roll axis and I have been in contact with DJI for a year long, they've replace my gimbal twice and I never been satisfied... I also tried the RS3 Pro from a friend: Same issue. Now I just see that the RS4 does the same thing, and even handled by the amazing Brandon Li 🤣1:50 I just see this exact same Roll wobble at 1:50 in the video :/ I use to have the Weebill-S before, and I never noticed anything like that 🤔 I am pretty sure it's a design flaw from the RS series, 3 and above :/
