I had to earn my dad's approval with good grades, and try to be funny because girls my age were looking for boys with green eyes and blonde hair. I just had a revelation about what it means to be a Power Couple! Eureka I got it!!!!!😊 The power couple first of all is not necessarily those business associates in suits and running around in the cement jungle. If that works for you great, If it doesn't don't think that you can't be a power couple. Yes this resonates Brandon. I think people who I didn’t know me well and met once, made a judgment and saw my loving kind nature as a weakness or a sign of being too nice that would hold me back in life. Even then I vowed I’m me and didn’t have a desire to change who I was. They said find the bitch within jokingly, ha but that isn’t and never will be me. Thankful I knew myself well enough in my 20s to dismiss it. But in hindsight they were projecting their own insecurity or I was mirroring it back to them. But there is something in how being an empowered woman can move into masculine energy or be perceived in that way as competing which creates an imbalance and that lesson took time to sink in and I repeated that and saw a pattern. But that wasn’t me, I was playing a role I believed was how I was meant to show up learned from societal programming to be my best impressive self. My strength is I am an unconditionally loving soul but have learned to have boundaries. I said I’d never settle and stand by that. With the person who I believe and trust is my person I’m all in, no half measures so I would want my person to meet me there and us commit to continuing to grow as individuals and together as a team.
