Edit: I've achieved the 1:24s now :) my times are more consistently 1:25s

I'm doing 1:28 and feel like on the absolute limit. Just completely clueless where I can find 5 seconds worth of time...and this goes for all tracks.
@aaronm12463 жыл бұрын
@@alwynmalan1 Are you left foot braking? I found that when I was less experienced, I was losing time because I was driving like o would normally drive a manual car, so the time switching between pedals was losing me time in every corner, and I wasn't able to manage the brake and throttle together
@alwynmalan13 жыл бұрын
@@aaronm1246 It's even more depressing than that. I'm on a gamepad :( Appreciate the attempt to help though.
@aaronm12463 жыл бұрын
@@alwynmalan1 Ah, well I'd say that's almost definitely why you're losing time since achieving precision with a gamepad is difficult. 1:28 is good! If you have the money, I recommend getting a wheel setup, it's loads of fun and they last a long time so although expensive initially, in the long run they're worth it and it will definitely help improve your lap times once you get used to it

What car is this? I am using 2018 GTR and having trouble keeping consistent under 1:26.8. Changing setup on the rear helps some, but biggest issues are oversteer while cresting last corner, and the line on that second high speed corner eludes me every 3rd or 4th lap and I lose 4 or 5/10ths. Also, when pushing the car really hard the tyres go greasy too fast and I'm only able to push really hard for 4-5 laps before the car starts to feel out of balance.
@fabienl98354 жыл бұрын
Exactly the same here. I really don t understand how i could go 3 or 4 seconds faster... I tried everything. And regarding the pics it s a Lexus GT3. I ll try with different cars even i don t think it will change something...
@fabienl98354 жыл бұрын
After trying a lot of set up and watching a lot of videos, i m pretty sure some people publishing astonishing laptime used a certain amount of stability control, it s pretty obvious espacially on the late breakings when the cars are so stable and drivable. To be clear, i m not saying it s the case here but i ve stopped trying to understand how people get those incredible lap times on youtube cause to me a lot use stability control.
