Brandy may not remember this (she was about 7 or 8 years old) but I still remember her walking around church with my first born baby when I came to visit my mother (whose name was Brandi) for the first time after I had my baby. She was always singing in church and we all knew she was going to be a singer. Hard to believe she's a full grown woman with a child of her own. I had the pleasure of meeting Brandy while working at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in West Hollywood back in the late 90's. She was so kind and down to Earth. Her sweet, angelic, tone with piercing clairty was in her teens and early 20s. She will always be amazing but can’t compare to her prime.

@Starlight not always the case. Some people sound great but aren't vocalists. Meaning there is a proper way to keep your voice strong. As time goes on over usage can damage vocal cords. If I remember correctly, Brandy actually lost her voice from stress when she was sued because of an accident. The fact that its like nothing happened is amazing. Perfect example is Brian from the Backstreet Boys.
