Welcome to Vancouver! I am originally from Toronto, and just moved here last August. In the first 2-3 months, I enjoyed the weather here so much. However, after experiencing the high living costs, which are 10 to 15% higher than in Toronto, I started to miss my hometown. I hope you all find your preferred living style and settle down smoothly.
My first thought exactly. It is very troubling and does not make much sense to me. I am kind of baffled by what's happening. I hope they know exactly what they are doing.

I ve been in America for over 4 decades and I ve seen it all. Vancouver has better weather but definitely has high standard of living. To succeed in America as a worker, either you go to school, earn a degree or learn a trade in construction. If you have a degree, work for the government is not a bad choice since they give you better benefits and pension. Good luck.

At first I do think they will start themselves off at Calgary with their financial considerations as they always mention at their vedios claiming life is not that easy in Toronto..... but seems like they are out minded now as Vancouver is for sure not an "easy" place for dreamers (they spend a lot of time thinking about and planning for things that they would like to happen but which are improbable or impractical)

In their previous video , They talk about to go to different places to live, Vancouver is just one of the city that they will stay for a while. Unfortunately, you decided to move to San Francisco North. If you think Toronto is expensive, then I don't know what to tell you now that you moved to San Fran North. BTW, you do know why I coined Vancouver the San Francisco North minus all the high tech industires right? You are still young. I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
