I remember when I was decorating our current home. I too went to all of the "home stores" to get ideas. I recall looking at all of the mass marketed framed art in order to get an idea of what was trending. Then I went to lot's of art shows and local galleries etc and bought some very cool pieces from local artisans'. Took me longer than just going to the store but an added bonus was I got to meet some really cool locals who shared my interest in art.

Thanks for the shopping tour. Homesense (sister store) is my go to shopping spot. I love the variety and all the original pieces or even dupes from highend brands but at a lower price. It is incredible how fast most of our Christmas section is gone now. Only about a row and a half left. You have great taste so it is fun to see all the treasures you come across. Just a word of caution if you get that clear round base lamp. I have one similar to that and discovered my remote sitting next to it was partially melted. One day when I was sitting next to it I saw smoke and noticed the sunbeam was coming in the window going through the glass base and melting the remote.

Hi Brandy. I like the rug w/ the 3 stripes. Love cutting boards & baskets. Yes! Seagrass. Anything w/ a scalloped edge catches my eye. The pillows w/ the stripes 😁 Love lanterns as well. The pot for $35 would've came home with me, lol. HomeGoods is a dangerous store 😂 Have yet to go in one.
