Hiking Brandywine Falls Provincial Park trail to the lower viewpoint is easy and not that far. It's a must if you're looking for a short hike when you're traveling through Squamish and Whistler.
It's 15 minutes from Whistler and only 30 minutes from the town of Squamish Municipality of British Columbia and close to Sea to Sky Gondola and Shannon Falls. An hour and 45 minutes from Vancouver. This magnificent view from the top viewpoint overlooking the 70 meter falls may not be exactly what you're looking for. Hiking Brandywine Falls to the bottom is the very best possible view and is definitely worth the hike down.
If you want to watch just the waterfall view with a soothing music.

It took us 50 minutes from the parking lot to the bottom of the falls. However, going down there especially when it's your first time where the trail is uncertain you may get confused and possibly lost. Do not be worry though! as long as you hear the water flowing then you'll be fine.
How to get down there the proper way.
👉 Follow the trail from the platform overlooking the falls viewpoint. Keep walking down the trail for a few minutes until you get to the next viewpoint of Daisy Lake. Walk towards the end of the fence. The narrow trail starts here. Walk straight through the forest following the trail that runs beside the edge of the cliff. Keep on the trail as it follows the cliff edge (rock pile edge). Keep right following the trail as it loops right around the rock pile edge then make your way down the narrow rock trail. It will lead you down the rock pile to where the trail takes you back into the forest. Follow the trail into the forest. You will come to a log where you'll have to walk along it for a few steps and continue on the trail keeping to the right. Keep right and follow the trail which runs close to the rock pile, always keeping to the right which will bring you down close to the stream. You'll be able to hear the stream as the trail follows the stream and brings you out where you can see the bottom of the waterfalls. As long as you always keep right following the obvious trail it's a fairly simple/easy hike down. If you're following these directions and wondering if you're on the right trail YOU ARE!
(Please use the safe easy trail. Not the steep rock pile. There is NO climbing. If you think it's steep! that's because you're going the wrong way. And Yes! there is an easy trail.)
Anyways, good luck and enjoy!
I would like to give a shoutout to the couple we met that day. Lisa and her husband. It sure made the hike easier and a lot more fun!
