I have some decals to add , I think I need to do at least 2 clearcoats over my candy and then sand the peel or imperfections out , I'm just not sure what fine grit to use , then once the decals are on, then a mist coat of clear , and then another clearcoat . Does this sound right ? .cheers for video .👍

You need a minimum of 3 to 4 coats of clearcoat for Kandy before you start sanding, 600 grit then put stickers if your going to flow coat with 3 more clearcoats. If buffing then put stickers on 30mins after basecoat Kandy dries then 3 coats clearcoat then wet sand with 1500 grit, 2000, 3000 then buff

The reason you are getting sags and seperation is slow reducer.. I personally use fast. I have had big problems using slow even at 85 degrees.

when you spray kandy do you clear over the base? (silver met)

No, clear is Always last. Tri-stage is 1.base(silver) 2.Candy (midcoat) 3. Clearcoat
