Brandywine Manor House Wedding Film // Lindsey + Brad // When I'm with You

Lindsey met Brad in Melbourne, Australia when she travelled there for a three month time period to play field hockey. And how did they meet exactly? Lindsey spilled a drink on him while she was out celebrating with teammates! But they started talking and really got along amazingly well! They spent a lot of time together before it was time for Lindsey to travel back to the US.
After about six months apart, Brad flew to the US to visit Lindsey for a week. Lindsey already had plans to return to Australia for a year, and by the end of Brad’s visit, they were discussing plans to live together! They then had to endure a nine month long-distance relationship, but this only made their bond stronger. When you know you’ve found ‘the one’, you just know!
This was such a fun and relaxed, rustic wedding event. We already knew Lindsey and her family since we filmed her sister’s wedding two years ago and were so thrilled to get to work with them again! The setting was beautiful: an historic stone farmhouse set upon rolling green hills, with gardens, mature trees and a serene lake as the backdrop. The venue was perfect for a nature-inspired wedding.
Lindsey looked gorgeous in her wedding gown, which featured a dazzling belt and was covered from top to bottom in delicate lace. She wore her hair up in a beautiful, loose twist and included a long, flowing veil attached at the back of her hair. Creations by Mia did a wonderful job with hair and makeup for the entire bridal party. Lindsey’s lovely bridesmaids wore matching knee-length, one-shoulder light rose colored dresses while Brad and his groomsmen coordinated perfectly with them in matching pink ties. They opted to forego the jackets on this hot, summer day and keep the atmosphere slightly more casual.
The two decided to skip any first looks and see each other for the first time at the ceremony at Brandywine Manor House in Honey Brook, PA. They chose to hold their ceremony at the breathtaking Glen Waterfalls location, complete with a delightful seven-foot waterfall at the altar. We loved the pretty flower petals that lined the aisle. They recited beautifully written vows to each other, then shared their first kiss as husband and wife!
Following the ceremony, we enjoyed strolling the beautiful Brandywine Manor House grounds with Lindsey and Brad. Mike Landis captured wonderful photos of the happy couple and wedding party by the lake and with so many of the venue’s charming features as backdrops. It was a true pleasure to work with him again.
The reception commenced onsite in the Manor Barn. It was decorated so beautifully with vintage and nature-inspired décor. White string lights were draped and wrapped around the barn’s beams to compliment the multi-tiered chandeliers and aged wood throughout. Adorable birds topped their delectable wedding cake from Shady Maple Farm Market, with tiny garlands and roses strung along the four delicious tiers. Everything tied in so perfectly with the rustic theme.
This reception celebration was so much fun, as the wedding guests definitely cut loose on this dance floor this evening (and some even entertained the crowd with a choreographed routine)! This was a crowd that knows how to have fun! And VIP DJs’ Dan Lizette definitely kept this party rocking!
It was so wonderful to see Lindsey and her family again and to meet Brad and his family from Australia. Their wedding event was truly spectacular! Congratulations to Lindsey and Brad!
