Thanks dude! I'm currently 2k in 2s as BM. 1700 in 3s as MM though. My 3s team is made up of the a Ele shaman and Hpally. That's not a viable comp but let's see if the patch on tuesday will do anything. I just wish Beastcleave was still a thing.

The macro doesn't work that well for me. The autoshot lasts only for one shot then it switches back to the focused target. Is there any solution to this problem?

faboo nope. Cuz thats not how it works. Since auto attack isn't a spell, it will always fire on ur target. What u could do is to switch ur targeting and have all your skills shoot @focus and then take a normal tab target to auto attack on. But that would just be wierd to play with i think.

how you feel survival hunter in 110?, actually i play a lot of skirmish 3v3 like Survi and i win 90% of this (anywhere are "skirmish"), but in 110 the game change a lot... good guide dude greetings from chile ;)

SV kinda sucks against any melee. You will depend a lot on healers for you to stay alive. The problem with SV is that it requires you to kill a target to get some benefits. Like heal, CD reduction on heal, resetting CD on harpoon ect. All those things would of been nice if you had a way to proc them mid fight. A survivalist needs to survive during a encounter. Not when the fight is over -_-

I do from time to time. Problem is that people are so used to watching me in beast mode that when I stream It comes out a little boring because I'm just relaxing and doing dailies. The people that watch me stream are usually the people who are there for me and not my pvpness. I'd stream every day if this was Cata because back then I had all my hunter tools and I could make really sick plays in BGs. In other words, I had mad fun in BGs back then. Now I die to random noobs simply because they have a healer and I don't have any CC or the fact that I have something on CD. I'm not a guy who is full of pride, but it does suck that I die to random people now simply because they took away my CC and defensives.

Nice vid Brang! as always, but let me ask, why this time you take BM over MM as main Spec? I know MM is kinda fcked up but i want to know your opinion :D

Not only is the spec not fun, the damage and artifact is a joke. What do you do as a MM to burst people down? True Shot and then Arcane Shot (or multishot) and Marked Shot. You can literally make a castsequence macro to do Arcane Shot > Marked Shot for the entire duration of True Shot. Everything in the artifact is boring. Just flat dmg increase that adds no depth to the class. At least as BM everything in the spec is smooth. The artifact adds interesting talents like KC heal, KC having a chance to deal additional nature dmg, TBW affecting your 2nd pet. Stuff like that. As BM you deal a lot more dmg and a lot easier too. Where as MM you have to stand still and it's not rewarding at all. And finally, BM actually feels like a Hunter. Whereas MM is just some paper archer. That was huge for me. I do not feel like a Hunter when I play as MM.

Hey brang, nice guide! What you think of survival mate? I'm playing that spec atm, but doesn't seem much viable, at least in BG's where I'm used to do what Hunters did in the past: hard kiting, facing multiple opponents and mouseover cc's. I really miss the Real Hunter, the One we've played in the past. Since i find BM and MM extremely boring atm, I decided to play survival, but doesn't seem to be that strong, especially, irony, for his survivability.

I feel like SV isn't a complete spec. Maybe it'll become a true melee spec in the NEXT xpac. It has too many "on kill" buffs to make it viable.

SV is a lil better now, I've just made a video. But still we can't do what we were used to do in the previous years, with cc's, 1 vs 2/3 etc, no matter what spec you play. Damn, nostalgia is killing me :D You still on BM sir?

Alessandro Grossi I was 1800 in 2s and 3s but our monk healer disappeared. Then our pally healer finally lvled up and we dropped to 1600. The nerfs to BM were uncalled for. But right now I'm working on MM. I'm just waiting for the next patch now so I can go back to making videos as MM. As far as SV goes. I don't like it. Compare it to the other melees that do crazy burst damage with only 2-3 buttons. SV has to put rend, explosive trap, dragon grenade, Crows, Spam mongoose 6 times AND THEN use your artifact weapon. That's waaaaaaaaaay too much GCDs and time to call it burst. There's too much setup for mediocre damage. Other classes just press their burst CD and then press 2-3 keys. Yes nostalgia is killing me too.

I'm good, man. Things are a lot different in this xpac. Specs aren't made for you to solo a bunch of people now. You have weaknesses and you need your team mates to fill that in for you. MM is great in 3s for sure. But 1v1 it's not even the shadow of what the spec was capable of in the previous years.

Yeah is not unfortunately the pruning changed everything. But still I have managed to do very cool things with it. Something you said is really sad but true "Specs aren't made for you to solo a bunch of people now" and it sucks because with good skill and practice you could do awesome things to other players i miss that skill gap it was something to strive for, there is almost no depth in the current design. Don't get me started with world pvp.

I go BM for 2s/mythic+ and MM for 3s. I have 36+ traits in both artifact weapons. SV is the only one I haven't completed yet. I'll invest in SV eventually but right now I have to play the specs that work with my comp. BM and MM are the only specs that work with a Ele/Enh Shaman. And even then we still get outcomped by anything else simply because hunters and shamans don't work well together anymore. Which is sad since that's all I played with for the last 3 expansions. I don't have anyone else so we have to do our best with what we've got.

We've noticed a change in the feral play style since legion launched which is generally undesirable for our comp. So our natural reaction to killing you was to celebrate in an unruly manner. Nothing against you as a player, just the spec itself. We've also learned that some of our fans might fall victim to our post-win antics, so from here on out we will tone down our shenanigans. BM dominated pvp in the beginning of MoP. Then MM took over when they buffed MM. Unless they make Aimed Shot castable while moving or buffing it's dmg by 15-20%. Im not going to play a spec where I'm Focus capped waiting for a proc to deal OK dmg.

Didn't they change it from 200% to now deal 43K additional dmg before launch? Witch makes it less dmg then pet stomp? That and I see a lot of times my pet is only doing 3 hits not 5 or something is not working right with it EDIT now its 5 every time idk.

Nope. It scales off of your Attack Power. It does your Attack Power x2. Mine does 46,267 off every single Frenzy hit. So 46,267 x 5 = 231,335 damage non crit. If some of your Frenzy crits you can do 400k+ dmg. It's also nature damage so it goes through armor unlike Stomp which is physical. Overall Stomp will deal more dmg since it procs more and it does nice cleave dmg. But Frenzy + Titan's Thunder is far better when you go in for the kill after the healer is CCed.

I'm 1800 in 2s with it. But I haven't done any arena last week or this week due to work schedule. For 3s I'm MM but we struggle because our comp doesn't work anymore in Legion. Hunter/Shaman/Healer is not a viable comp like it used to be in the previous expansions.

Have you given some thought to SV? I ask because I've been playing SV and although it's enjoyable I do miss being ranged. It's a real shame BM/MM have so much less mobility and control compared to the melee spec. Also, I wanted to mention that your videos have been inspiring throughout the years and even now, in arguably the darkest times for hunters, it is always fun to go back and re-watch some of the classics. So a big thank you to you!

I tried SV when it sucked before 7.1 and it didn't work with our comp. I have 37+ traits in both BM and MM, but only got the 3 golden traits for SV. I really like the idea of SV being melee but they didn't do a good job with it. It has way too many buttons to press and other melees will out burst you with 3 buttons alone. SV should of been like fury warriors with the crazy sustain but that's not the case. Also I don't know if it's a night elf thing but the melee animations for SV are really buggy. It really makes the spec less enjoyable to play. And thanks man! I really appreciate it.

Haha nobody is forcing us to do anything. It's 100% a PvE talent to give you a boost on the first few minutes of the boss fight. I just made it work in PvP :P
