Was born in brantford. Now i live in las vegas were you never see a day like this. Yes i get sick of sun everyday. So i watch this and it makes me homesick and brings me home. But i admit, 4 days of this and cold weather and i want to go back to the sun. Great video and music.

Im from here and unfortunately drug use had extremely affected this town. I was an addict myself. Luckily was able to get clean, but if they want to fix the problem.. They need to open up treatment and detox centers.. Not just ignore it and treat addicts like scum of the earth.. It will only get better if wr acknowledge the problem and come up with a plan to start fixing it.

I'm sure the city is bad but they're not alone in this country - addiction is a huge problem in Canada. My theory is that because government is both supplying and treating addicts (pot, booze, cigarettes, gambling...) there's no true desire to solve the problem.

The problem with Brantford is the drug addicts that affect the downtown core. Highest place for opioid use in 2017 and not getting any better foe 2018. The Tim Hortons downtown on Dahlousie needs to be shut down as it's become a drug infested Haven. Downtown core, eagle place, East Ward, and parts of echo place are to be avoided. The north end is very thriving with lots of businesses and good place to live. The new development in West Brant is also a excellent place to live and growing. Other good points is excellent trails, parks, Wilkes dam, and light display at glenhurst gardens. Also long summers, low snowfalls due to being outside of the snowbelt and nice Autumn weather.

The addiction problem effects the entire country, it's not just Brantford and it's not just drugs but also alcohol. Canada has a major alcohol and pain killer addiction problem. The government supplies the alcohol and the medical system supplies the pain killers. The problem isn't going away because they are making way too much money.

Noel Doe i live in Brantford and it’s a really nice city just my suggestion is to move into the north side of Brantford lol
@birgip.m.12363 жыл бұрын
North side of Brantford is cookie-cutter suburbia... nothing (as in amenities) accessible by foot... if you like that.

With the 'work from home' craze continuing, places on the fringe of the GTA like Brantford are going to boom big time over the next few years - everyone wants out of the big city...
@birgip.m.12363 жыл бұрын
Lovely demonstration of just how UNWALKABLE they've made Brantford. Colborne St -Dalhousie -Clarence St -Brant Ave-West St-Wayne Gretsky Pkwy-Mount Pleasant.... are all THRU-Ways that might as well be highwaýs that just chop up and divide the city. EXTREMELY ALIENATING lack of community-oriented planning.

Typical weather network forecast that day - was supposed to be mostly sunny - instead had rain showers all day..

Gloomy weather & gloomy music is appropo for a gloomy lifeless town redesigned for cars.
