Brantley is the most under rated country male artist out there! This version is by far better than Aldean..Amazing talent and he puts a metal edge on country that is fine tuned and fabulous!
@BoUnDnBrOkEn62711 жыл бұрын
I love both versions and both singers... However, I think Brantley is a lot more unique in his style then any other artist in the industry, and he's very easy on the eyes :-P...
@andierenee26410 жыл бұрын
Easy on the eyes is putting it mildly.. Yeah, he is amazing in looks, talent and uniquness.. Cant wait to hear the next single of his newest album.

everyone looks dumbfounded whenever he starts his "hick hop" verse lol. This is the first version of Dirt Road Anthem I ever heard (it included Colt Ford). way better than Aldeans cover of it

Christian Burton technically aldean didnt cover it. aldean was given the song than bg and ford did their version since bg wrote it. i hate the colt ford version personally but this version with the extended verse is my favorite
@jaydenbridges18095 жыл бұрын
@@pedigreeowns actually Brantley released his in 2008 and Jason released his in 2010. Therefore Jason covered it.
@pedigreeowns5 жыл бұрын
@@jaydenbridges1809 the 2008 version was featuring BG. So even still this version would still be a cover

Brantley you'll probably never see this but you signed my les Paul at el Dorado casino in shreveport after a show. I help you win your 500 bucks after a shitty run of luck on roulette before your popularity. Hmu to jam some time. Know all your hits. Inspiring musician. Is what it is. Just want to jam

Check out the video 'Brantley Gilbert, Dirt Road Anthem At Home' on KZbin and you'll see just how real he is (at about :25+ seconds in. It's rare to find a genuine country artist in the industry these days. Too many studio cowboys going mainstream and not enough real ones I feel. Compare Brantley Gilbert to Jason Aldean and the difference is plain as day (No hate for Aldean though) It's one thing to throw on a cowboy hat, some boots and strum an acoustic with that 'country twang' but it's another to just feel it from the depths of your soul, no matter what clothing you got on or what kind of truck you drive. Because when you start associating appearances with a style of music, you're polluting a wellspring of Human creativity. That very error has deteriorated the integrity of a variety of genres- And it's heartbreaking to see it happen to a genre as rich and soulful as country/folk music. That's just my take on it. Can you tell I'm passionate about music or what? Hah. Sorry for the rant gentlemen (and/or ladies) but I feel it's our duty to find the real artists and hold them up.
