I think the crux here is that large bet sizings are just incredibly nutted at low stakes poker. Like the 4b from UTG+1 vs your JJ should just be an easy fold. You can even flat JJ in position sometimes then as well. Also the K high hero call, I think a raise is better. You have all overpairs that are now boats (AA/KK/QQ). And that puts a ton of pressure on all their small full houses. It would suck to call with K high and lose to A high (A4) or a small full house, which I think he's repping a lot of the time.
@BrantzenPoker7 ай бұрын
Yeah I agree - I should’ve folded the JJ for sure. I was stubborn and stupid, and that’s mainly what the title was referring to. And yeah the king high hero call, a raise def would’ve worked, but I honestly thought king high was gonna be good 😂

6:40 AK, there are two ways to play a hand: #1) easy for the opponent 2) hell hard for the opponent The way you played AK was #1. Now, the #2: limp! Wait for someone to raise behind, ($30), and then hammer it! (180). On flop rip It off!! $579! Let's see if he is gonna risk his entire stack on an open ender. Even if he calls and wins, he is going to bathroom right after the hand.

I think that angler move, IF he actually verbalized his hand way stronger than it is as you are making your decision, should be a forfeit hand. Brantzen, I know you are a 5 5 or 5 5 10 NL specialist but once in awhile, can you also play and create content on limit holdem? My suggestion, for a solid, disciplined, and skillful player like you will do good 25 50 limit holdem at hustler casino. I know it's less popular, exciting for content creation but I just thought it'd be very lucrative for brantzen.
