Because in a very twisted way, the Brars always stick together and it's a question of class and conformity. Manveer and Jasleen are rich so they see each other as equals and have tried to uphold the dumb patriarchial values of the Brars. They even accepted Seerat at one point because she wanted to conform to their lifestyle and didn't care about her poor family. They never accepted Sahiba because she refused to be like them....the only time she got acceptance was either when she did something truly heroric at the cost of her well-being, or when she got pregnant with their precious ghar ka chirag. They backwards women deserve each other. It's sad with so many women vs. men at the Brar Mansion and Angad is the only real strong male figure, there is still so much internalized misogyny.

The cycle of hospitals, jails, and fighting never stops. If they do the Diljith kidnapping drama, they should remove him from the show for a bit and expose Amu's craziness (they can always come back with a family revenge track or something later on). Then, they should show some good bonding and family moments between Sahan and Akir....and a slow progression of friendship and co-parenting between Sahan and Sahiba developing her career.

I would say "getting" Akir and getting Akir's love are two different things. Once Diljith or Sahiba are back in the picture, Angad will realize that Akir doesn't want him and will have to put in the work for Akir's acceptance for sure. I want Diljith gone from the show and would like to see Angad and Akir bond in a healthy way, but for that Sahiba needs to return and Angad has not to stop being an idiot and stand up to his mother.

@@patiencenyashanu1706 I don't mind if Sahiba stays at the Brars for now...there will be negativity of course, but I think this time Sahiba has nothing to lose and can actually say whatever she wants...Akir will probably not want to stay in the Mansion without Sahiba, so Angad and the Brars will need her more there than she would need to stay there...I know people hate Angad, but I don't think he will try to pull a custody case and remove Sahiba from Akir's life (provided this current misunderstanding is cleared)...though it's true, he's easily manipulated. Plus, I do still want to see a friendship and co-parenting scenario between Sahan, while Angad redeems himself, and Sahiba gets her education and career together....there really is a pathway to positivty, but again I doubt the makers will explore that. Until Sahiba returns, baby Akir better sleep with a butter knife under his pillow or just sleep in Bani's, Bebe, or Angad's room or something because I am scared for him.

I don't get the feeling that Angad doesn't want Sahiba in Akir's life, but to just leave the hospital and take the child to Ludhiana without waiting or looking for Sahiba is just plain dumb, even if Sahiba knows where Brar Mansion is. I like that he isn't trying to traumatize Akir by telling him the truth, but Akir can't adjust to anything without Sahiba. Brar Mansion is a cesspool, but it's good the story moved back to Ludhiana...but the story really needs to end with Sahan + Akir leaving the Mansion.
