Wow! Beautiful. I would love a set of those nesting tables. These are a work of art, and function, in a gorgeous wood, with brass. Brass is a wonderful metal, that I think gets passed over way too much in this century.

I have a set! I'm new to woodworking but I've been using these videos to restore them. Mine have brass inlay with intricately carved flower patterns. The previous owner bought them after the largest table was sun bleached and the only thing she could think to do was cover each entire tabletop with lime green chalk paint. So I've been spending a few weeks picking the paint out of the carvings. Still haven't satisfactorily figured out how to remove all of it.

Definitely on another level when you ask your feet to get involved with the build. His feet said, "we got this".

Не перестаю удивляться на некоторых людей. Вручную на коленке зубилом делают вещи круче, чем я на ЧПУ... Лайк!

Is that a specialized chisel or a home made tool being used to gouge the lines? I've been looking for a tool like that and I have no idea what it's called.
@4_doors_more_whores3 жыл бұрын
That's just home made chisel made specifically for wire inlay job, there are 2-3 different types of chisels for different patterns, you can easily make them by yourself with high carbon steel .
@adamrowedotcom3 жыл бұрын
@@4_doors_more_whores ok good to know. I've been making my own tools for this and I didn't want to waste too much time looking for something that doesn't exist!
