Great clip mate Hope you've got better luck with your Brass Monkey than me our's lasted only 21 days so we returned it and got another Evakool. As we have by now one that last so far 10 years what seems to be working just fine

G,day Pals hope all’s well 🙏❤️ currently in Gympie for a week and will be in the bay Saturday morning 🍺🍹🎉🎉💥 we’re still running our Brass Monkey fridge we bought years ago now after watching a clip you done and could not be happier 👍👍. With any luck we’ll run into each other for a quick yarn and cleansing ale . I can already tast the goat curry from Saffron cafe in K mart plaza and the sea scollop omelette from down on the esplanade 😂❤️ . Stay strong 👍👍❤️🇦🇺. My display has always been 15°c out. Set to the minimum -5°c it is running at 10°c. Now just after a year, it will only go down to 2°c on the display, so just below 20°c, and is running non stop, killing my batteries. I have never been able to get my beers cold enough, so I have to put them in the freezer for a few hours.

That doesn’t sound good at all. You should take it back under warranty. My experience with warranty claims on other stuff in the past has been very good. Hope you can get it sorted.

Take it back it is stuffed. RTM guy’s have been good with me for Brass Monkey returns, I have had to take 3 back so far in the last year.

​@@AdventuringPalsI got a replacement. It had same issue. Jaycar agent ended up giving me a refund immediately, while it took head office a week to approve. I bought an Engel chest and it is working fine Lesson learnt, don't buy brass monkey crap.

Thanks. It’s been great. Only prob I have is that the freezer door opens at times and so it could do with a better latch then the magnet they use. I now try and put something in the door storage that doesn’t allow the freezer door room to open.

We keep ice creams and ice blocks up there. No issues. I haven’t monitored the actual temperature as I keep the gauge in the fridge part.

@@ryangillies05 too easy mate. You can only set one zone temperature (fridge or freezer) and the other zone will just be what it is. I usually set my fridge temp to 1 and my freezer stays at a good temp. Cold enough to make ice.
