Brassmaster Fuzz - Bass Demo - Latent Lemon Audio

Bass Brassmaster demo. It's a clone of the Maestro Bass Brassmaster 1970s fuzz. This Brassmaster is true to the original 70s pedal's components which imho give the best low frequency response, octave effect and range of fuzzy bass goodness. It's big and it rocks! Bass with a vintage style P-Bass pickup going through the clean channel of a Musicman RD50 amp into a Fane Medusa cab.

i owned an original brassmaster for 25 years - the best pedal i have ever owned for both live and studio. nothing else quite like it. i used it on guitar.

Yep, I had the original one back in the early-mid 80s… I can remember that it sounded like the components were frying when I dimed allofit… _(wound up leaving it at a house party after a night of inebriation,…Can you imagine doing that with the original one these days lol ?)_ anyway, I always thought every clone of it fell short… until I saw this video Immediately after I got in touch with Justin, and he built me one… It’s been about two years since then,… And I recently duplicated the “frying“ effect with it, at a gig.. _(The mid 70s SVT/810 backline on 7- tht I was using probably had a little to do with it as well lol)_ I was very pleased… _(but now I’m deaf!… not really, but yknow..)_

Hi, I used a couple of mics on the cab straight into the console, no EQ or studio trickery! I ran a MM bass with a vintage P-Bass pickup (all passive electrics on the bass) into the clean channel of a Musicman amp into an oversize closed back 1x12 Fane Medussa cab. Cheers
