Arne Van Petegem released some tape songs under names Styrofoam and Tin Foil Star. his public instagram: @arnestyrofoam. underwaternow.com/ihearstrangemusic has catalogs for both aliases (and lot of other music). my friend really really wants people to listen to the similar Belgian band Mote too

I somewhat worry about, to borrow (steal, really) something a friend said, the way things on the algorithm sites are always threatened with having the contexts they exist in changed forever. I know much less about the music I listen to than I ideally should and it's due largely to this sort of disembodiment

@@ranivacar I understand the desire to share something cherished with another person, but due to your actions you've contributed to the loss of spirit of what you're sharing. This would have reached people naturally however slowly at it's own pace through the human experience, but you gave it up to something you even sort of had an idea was compromised.

@@ranivacar Also there was no need to re upload something that was already available on youtube, there's no point unless you're trying to tweak the algorithm. Which is messed up because you could have just shared this with people you have an established connection with, even people you have connections with online as long as your friendships are sincere and authentic. That way you would have been fostering an organic transmission of information that's more rewarding to everyone involved that transcends the original thing, it being a special shared experience between friends instead of a commodity that's taken for granted and potentially ill interpreted by vain people who will use it to boost their egos that would never have found it on their own because they lack the curiosity and desire for something more or due to their own misgivings would have never been able to develop a relationship with someone who would want to share it with them.

I think a lot of it has to do with physical collages too, looks like a typewriter was used and overlayed on a photograph to me. You could do it all digitally, but it may be easier to do it somewhat organically

@@KLK01 a guy is selling this cass. on Discogs for about €350 or like $400. he also has some other tapes (incl. a Wio tape, for instance) that he's overpricing due solely to rarity. I don't love this enough to spend that money on a cassette. at no point has this been reissued or released in another official way.
