I've lived in London and Bratislava. You can fly to Vienna, you can fly to Bratislava, a family friendly place, nice food, people, architecture, affordable and not too 'touristy', what else do you need? I just hope the city won't change and will keep its vibe, many European cities have lost it. Glad you've enjoyed it Kevin too.

It’s the same in Portugal going from airport to vilamoura you pass a lot of graffiti and run down buildings I was worried the first time we went

Love this, hope you do Vilinus, Sofia and Riga old towns, affordable and lovely weekend breaks. You can get a train to Vienna from Bratislava in an hour too.
