Excellent video, and glad you enjoyed the ride ! Your train comprised two of the latest EMIs from Siemens, and OBB now has a large fleet of them. The Gysev unit is identical mechanically, and not only do Gysev EMUs work into Austria,,but Gysev Taurus locomotives which are identical to those of OBB, apart from the livery, are frequently seen on both freight and passenger workings around Vienna. A truly wonderful City, for both historic interest and trains, buses and trams! Many thanks.

Thanks so much for watching! I really enjoyed the seeing the variety of trains around Vienna. The marshalling yard the train passed was incredible. I was like a kid in a sweet shop!

We took that train trip last time we were in Bratislava. It's cool that you can travel between 2 capital cities so quickly and easily. A nice, relaxing journey. We took the catamaran on the Danube back for a change of scenery. Would recommend that mode of transport too.😊🛳️

Thanks so much for watching, we really hoped to take the catamaran back but just couldn’t book it. We slummed it on the bus. 🤣🤣🤣

Nice video, good journey 👍 I did this route back in 2005, it was an ancient diesel locomotive with two corridor carriages - certainly an experience!

9:08 good choice of team there (unless it was accidental) :) Great video as always! A nice efficient train there on a nice day and well priced (and colourful!). I need to learn some foreign languages so I can listen in to what’s being said. The flashing effect on video is the frame rate it’s recording at being in sync with the electricity hz in the lights. Europe is 50hz so a fps of 60 or 120 it’ll be less noticeable, but 25 or 50 fps on the GoPro - it’ll be in sync so it’ll flicker. Didn’t impact the video though - it’s common to see so I don’t notice anymore :)

No accident with the choice of team at all! Well spotted. Thanks for the fps info. I thought it was something to do with that but I am grateful for the explanation. As always, thanks so much for watching. It's greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much, I appreciate the feedback. I enjoy history but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I think a wee bit of background to the places I’m travelling to is interesting. I’ll keep going with it.
