Hi, check out the biosignals web page and I've added a direct link above. It's all open source and under Linux.

Probably best if you go to your next university and talk to somebody in psychology. They have loads of EEG machines and might let you use them.

Are these P300 signals? Sorry I'm kinda new to this
@BPMbiosignals
@BPMbiosignals 6 жыл бұрын
Yash Agarwal p300 is task/memory related. These are evoked potentials which always show up.

Hi thank you for your very informative video, I am a professor of biomedical Engineering in Iran and I would like to use some of your videos in my classes with Persian subtitle and share them in my social media shared with a small group of my students . So I would like to ask for your permission for that . I would definitely mention the source. so would you please grant me the permission . (of course it would be used only for educational purposes)

Hello, i have a question to the Live-Plott of EEG: Can i see the function where this was programmed in Matlab? Or were i can search for it?
@BPMbiosignals

All done in beautiful C++. github.com/berndporr/psth-vep for the USB-DUX box (Linux / wire based). For the Attys it's (bluetooth): github.com/glasgowneuro/attys-ep

Can you help me with something? I've read various p300 studies done on drug addiction, and some studies say the p300 is increased by pictures of their drug, some say the p300 amplitude is increased, and some say the p300 amplitude is DECREASED. Does having a high p300 correspond with a higher amplitude or a lower amplitude?
@BPMbiosignals
@BPMbiosignals 4 жыл бұрын
High P300 correspond to a higher amplitude. -- It's a classical problem of very noisy signals and possibly differences between subjects. So it might be just a random effect.
@makemyburdenlight
@makemyburdenlight 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!!! That's what I originally thought too, but then came across a few studies that were basically showing that addicts/substance users DO give more attention to substance cue photos /audio, EXCEPT one study said the addicts had negative amplitude and the other study said they had greater amplitude. Which didn't make sense? I've spent 2 days trying to make sense of it but am getting nowhere 😁 If you are up to the task, I'd love to email you the studies/quotes in question? My email is Makemyburdenlight@gmail.com

You can buy some simple recording sets but the quality will be relatively low. If you're really interested in this topic I suggest you try to learn the basics so that you can start building on it yourself. E.g. these tutorials should give you an idea of where to start: create.arduino.cc/projecthub/projects/tags/eeg. There are plenty of other good sources on the internet.
