My braun series 3040s pro skin shaver has been becoming red for a long time thanks for walking me through on how to fix it, I haven’t been using it in a while

I have a model 5414 and a model 5416. I see from the videos they contain two 1.2 volt NimH batteries. The curious thing is that Braun labels them on the outside of the case (you have to raise teh long-hair trimmer to read it) as "3.5 volts". Can't figure out how they came up wtih 1.2 x 2 ==3.5. Maybe 3.5 is the charging voltage?

It works as your video show. However, the battery replacement I ordered from Amazon is a little different than the original battery. Therefore, I had to make some try to fit it properly. At the end I got it done following your video. Thanks!

No, they have pin terminals.
