Do you still use your device? Have you noticed any damage on the interior of the head? The shiny surface can burn quite a lot from what I've seen in other IPLs.

I haven’t noticed any damage over the years I’ve had it. It does get warm towards the end but you could always do a section and let it sit a few and then do more if that worries you!

Do u have to do it the same day as u shave or u can do it next day after shaving as well, and can we use it around forehead area, I don't know it says in the manual u can't? And 2ndly the temperature setting should be low while using it on chin ,side burns etc

It has lasted me almost 2 years so far but I believe the cartridges (light attachments) can eventually run or burn out and you can replace those. Not exactly sure how long those will last- sorry!

I believe they recommend shaving. But I don’t see why an epilator wouldn’t be okay.

It works by heating up the hair in the follicle, so an epilator is the same as waxing, having removed the hair from the root. No hair = IPL won’t work.

@@sanshajCompletely wrong. Don’t talk unless you actually know what you are talking about. Braun states themselves that you can use an epilator. IPL and laser target the melanin collection in hair follicles, which absorbs the light causing necrosis of the follicle. If it was targeting the actual hair, then you wouldn’t be shaving would you? Light does absolutely nothing to the hair, which is why you proper contact with skin. You are clueless 🤡
