The choir is made up of children affected by brain tumours and their incredible parents, friends, teachers, medical professionals and supporters of the brain tumour charities. We didn’t have many rehearsals at all but there was SO much determination to learn the harmonies and to sing well. The BGT experience on the day was phenomenal! Thank you for helping create such magical memories.

I am rarely moved to write a comment in KZbin, but here I have to make an exception. I saw on that stage a collection of people bound together by love. I could feel the strength that brought to all who were there. Ravi, going through such a hard time and yet so mature and eloquent in his appreciation of those he has touched, just melted my heart. And all that love and strength just came pouring out in the song! The comments here, too, remind me of the humanity we still have - our ability to show love and compassion, in an increasingly polarized, cynical world. So sweet!

I've looked at this video at least 20 times. What is more amazing than the choir's performance is the young man. His voice is the voice of a child, but his words and demeanor are that of a man with many years of experience. There are no babyish or childish words in his vocabulary. He speaks with the experience of a person well beyond his tender years. His parents are to be immensely congratulated. They did a great job with their children.

It not just a sad story golden buzzer... They totally got the crowd hooked, their humbleness, courage to live even though they are suffering and smiling through pain and enjoying every aspect of life was bigger than any talent we will see... And the way they sang with so much emotions and with so much coordination must have taken a lot of effort and practice... And the conductor totally was encouraging each and everyone while conducting and freakin' well deserved golden buzzer because talent is not just singing, dancing, comedy, acrobats, magic etc but also a talent to bring people together and they did just that ❤️

Thank you for your detailed comment. You're right, a lot of work went into the performance over a very short period time.

Of all the BGT I have seen, and that’s a LOT, this has got to be amongst the top ten EVER! I pray for the total healing of this brave young man. 🙏🙏

yes i have to agree, i mean i watched the rest who got the golden buzzer and they are absolutely amazing however in all the years I have watched BGT other than the dog acts I watched in those 15 years, this is my favorite act of all of them.. and there have been some pretty good acts, i love diversity, but this is my favorite. I want them to win. Ravi and his sister are amazing. His sister is so cute and she sings so beautiful as well. She has got a voice to die for ..omg.. is she not only adorably cute, sweet etc but she can sing. I have watched this a few times already and I am still crying. It was the most beautiful performance ever..

Just teared up the moment he sang “I close my eyes and I can see…”. And then tears kept rolling down my face watching the whole video. Mind you I was watching this on a bus and I just couldn’t hold back my tears. Oh Gosh. Bless these children before they breathe their last.
