my father also climbed mount everest with major sekhawat on 23may 2001 ..there were 15 members in that group it was indian army's first successful summit ....he climbed twice or thrice his gallantry award got converted to kriti chakra ....

I met this Gentleman sometime back in 2009 or may be 2010 if I remeber it correctly. He was a colonel back then. I think it was after Operation Summer Storm in Manipur. He has been and inspiration to me and his life journey and achievements are incredible. Having to scal the highest peak 3 times and various other peaks. He is the man to look up to for anyone who loves taking up risky task
