Pokémon is legitimately the bottom of the barrel trash compared to any monster catching show. The designs, graphics, story, and gameplay are all incredibly sterile, safe, and boring. The only time that the series ever had anything remotely close to a good story was with Black and White, combined with certain arcs of the manga and Mystery Dungeon. Nintendo and GameFreak made a monster that has had a stranglehold on the genre for over 2 decades. Only now with games like Palworld are we finally seeing some pushback and letting other games have a chance.

I watched Digimon on CITV in the UK in the early 00's: I so wish this song was used in the English Language dub evolution scenes instead of "Digimon are the Champions" and "Hey Digimon!" Don't get me wrong, they're both fun songs and all, but "Brave heart" would've made the battle/Digivolve scenes absolutely EPIC!!!

It took me about 10 years to realize that the part "Show me your BRAVE HEART" at 2:46 is sung with much more strength and emotion than the first time, 24 years later it still gives me chills (the song and the discovery of this "special moment" )
