Brave Scientists Dr. Herbert Allen - Spirochetes and Alzheimer's Disease

Dr. Herb Allen, MD, is a Full Professor and Chair Emeritus of Dermatology at Drexel University College of Medicine as well as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has published extensively on the presence of bacteria and biofilms in the context of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis but became very interested in this phenomenon of bacterial biofilms in the context of the brain and neurodegeneration. He has studied and published on the topic of spirochetes (bacteria) in Alzheimer's Disease, leveraging his interdisciplinary dermatology lens to examine the problem in a new way.
