I used hydrangea hills for farming. Maxed out all jobs for the 3 characters and got them decent levels. Wish I'd have got my 4th character before doing it as Sloan stays with you after you get them

I'd recommend Freelancer being the first job you master because you get the skills JP Up and JP Up And Up which when both equipped give a 1.7x multiplier to every source of JP, including JP orbs.

master every job til berserker, everyone main beast hunter. use 3 BP, hit that brings everyone to 1 hp, capture, 1 hp, capture, Y then A game beat. lvl 50 and beast hunter stats are in the 900 max hp max mp almost 1700 captures. not even including broken captures

2:14 i actually defeated Leannan Sith multiple times, with all 4 members at LV11 , All FreeLancers J LV 9-10 and Seth had 2 Star Talismans , others had 1 on. Pretty much , have atleast close to or abit over Max HP 1600 , for a survivable chance to win. The highest damage i seen it do us 700-800ish with a Skill attack to single ally, and a Spell? That hits for 300-400ish damage on everyone , when not Default'd. Sloan can deal for 600-800ish damage, 1000-1200ish with critical, or can heal ally for 500 HP, and can use Phoenix Downs. Problem is that it can use Charm on all Members , but i got lucky that it only seem to effect 1,2 or 3 of my party, and either right after the Monster's turn, or my dumb charmed ally use Cure or Treat on Monster, my Non-Charmed member can use Purge to remove Charm. Used Seth's Special Attack for decent damage plus Attack boost on all allies until Seth's theme ends, but i only do that if this Rare Monster had either 0 or -1 BP , while my members had 2-3 B. Got 210 Job EXP , 1286 EXP and 1750pg from this thing, over and over. ---- The Green Tree Like Rare and Aquatic Salamander like rare creature will rekt though lol.

I should also mention that physical damage also cures charm, so you can have a black mage hit an ally so that they don’t have to waste mana on purge.

I didn't know about the vesp trick that is pretty good jp compared to enemies for awhile. They really did make freelancer busted didn't they? Forage is nuts, Treat can be used as an infinite mp source when grinding. Not to mention its worth grinding up for that 70% jp boost.

Freelancer's main use comes from Job Up. So you're doing it completely right yeah

After "freelancer" go for "black mage". At early levels black mage leveling power is unbeatable.

except by Freelancer :P Body Slam is freaking insane and at the end of Ch2, you get a passive that makes it free to use.

@@magus13131 Well i did mention early level, Prologue at most Chapter 1. Also body slam seems to be a single target hit. Black mage first spell is multitarget spell fire. Anything that can spawn with the wasps at night is week to fire.

I would agree, Black Mage has higher damage potential early on at this time. It does get a bit difficult with large groups because of the split damage though.

Hi Mikey, I'm new here & I'm loving the BD2 content Question: how fast can I get all 4 main char to MAX level Freelancer before setting each their own Jobs? I've just finished defeating the Bard enemy at the desert ruins, and I feel like my Jobs are all messed up, please help! thanx again

You can actually do it very quickly. Head on over to the Hydrangea Hills (the Halcyonia dungeon to the far north). There you can go a wide spread field filled with Aquatic Enemies. Eating the Fresh Fish treat will spawn more enemies, and doing this at NIGHT will give even more enemies to fight! Just try to gather 2 at one time! You should be able to master Free Lancer in about 20 minutes or so!
