It's likely that much of the Reds offensive success this series can be contributed to two young Braves rookie pitchers who are far from being where the Braves are hoping they would be at this point, I believe our more seasoned starters would have limited the Cincy offense.

Reds pitching is abysmal. They had a guy yesterday Sims give up 3 homeruns and now Ashcraft gives up 3 homeruns. Last 3 years the closer has struggled during the regular season. Will Smith, Kenley Jansen and now Iglesias. They're not budging. Smith turned into a master in the postseason in 2021 and Jansen was fine by the end of last year.

I think the best way to helm De La Cruz in is to pitch him inside lower half of the plate to prevent him from getting his long arms extended, he also filed a pitch off of his leg and was in pain with it, it wouldn't surprise if it doesn't flare up on him and keep him out of the Reds line up tomorrow.

I'm on the fence with De La Cruz. I think he is just having a Michael Harris moment where he has a great start but then tanks in the next season and then evens out. I just don't see him being "another Acuna" like some people say.
