Lucas Conway's reluctance to use his gun seems like cowardice to his son Mark. When Mark is captured by the villain Two Face, Lucas and Bravestarr must storm his fortress for a rescue.

Nearly every action-adventure animated series had the obligatory episodes such as the "go inside the live volcano and barely escape before it blows at the end with seconds to spare" story. This is Bravestarr's.

The she-ra reboot is surprisingly good I haven’t watched either he-man reboots (from what I did see they look pretty bad) If this show does get a reboot let’s pray its someone who knows what there doing and not whoever did Teen Titans, Powerpuff girls, and Thunder Cats Roar (whoever did this really needs to be banned from making reboots) Edit: I correct myself the 2002 remake is pretty good haven’t watched it fully but in terms of He-Man it was done right I’m a bit to stuck in nostalgia to properly appreciate it but I say give it a watch the second reboot is trash though

To tell the truth- Lucas Conway is known as loving, understanding, confident, aspiring, selfless, calm, optimistic, noble, wise, accountable, fatherly, level-headed, unswerving, caring, artistic, supportive, courteous, observant, nice, well-mannered, affectionate and protective. In other words, Mark is mature, altruistic, respectful, kind-hearted, sensitive, optimistic, nice, mild-mannered, accountable, rational and knowledgeable.

So when I watched this show as a child I merely thought of thirty-thirty as a trusted ally and confidant of the Marshall. But looking back on this depiction, I am wondering about the notional "coding" of the character. He is using stronger slong than the main character, and showing more emotional reactions than the protagonist? why is that and what is he signaling. What is a "horse" normally to a protagonist.... which, of course, leads to the questions of why he's satisfied to carry "The Marshall" around on his back everywhere...make no mistake, Bravestar has to be one of the most Woke cartoons of the 1980s...but it's 80s values of "woke"
