@Celeste Quinones It's harmful to them, because if it's so aggressive then people will be turned off by it and less likely to want to actually engage in any kind of constructive dialogue. And there are certain demands within it that are questionable, but I won't get into that now. When I watch these shouting matches and pissing contests it just puts me off, and I know I'm not the only one. There are people who started out neutral towards the whole issue who've actually become hostile towards it now, because of the aggression and obscenity of some activists.

Well there's two ways of looking at it. 1) The bible is quite clear about homosexuality (it's a sin). 2) Homosexuality is bad for society. This can be seen in the current shift towards removing gender roles and sexualizing children (trans story time, kids like desmond is amazing, etc.). To be clear, being gay isn't any worse than any other sin. But it's certainly not something to be proud of. A heterosexual man who sleeps with many women is just as guilty as the homosexual is.
