I personally feel like we are getting a more realistic look into Luis versus his first run on the show. I think Luis had a lot of blow-ups and a lot of pent-up anger when he was first on this show because he was trying to present a certain image and lived with a perfectionist complex. Hiding major sections of your life from reality TV show cameras is a difficult thing to do; you're essentially having to be an actor despite it being a "reality" show. I actually enjoy watching Luis more now than before because I think this is the Luis that he was trying to suppress in favor of presenting something more polished and the reality is: not every great person is polished, structured and clean cut. I may be wrong but I feel this Luis seems more genuine and less contrived.

Everyone should back off Luis what he’s gone through I’m sure everyone has gone through or will go through in there lives. He felt he needed to take time away from real estate and take a step back to reflect on his life and see if there was something else he wanted or needed to do. He came to the realization that he didn’t need to quit real estate to figure things out. He can continue doing the profession he has had success in and still make time for vacations, business ventures, hobbies, self improvement and love.
