Since they have a lot of friends this year, it's very possible some of the drama was cut out for the storylines of the main housewives for the sake of the trailer. Obviously as well, since group events were probably much harder to plan, it was probably hard to have any drama when they weren't seeing each other all of the time. We will see though I'm sure.

But honestly Phaedra has been known to lie in the past so she may come back, but I do know Kandi has made it clear that if Phaedra comes back she's leaving. It may be a safer choice to bring Ne Ne back because whether you love or hate her we can all agree Ne Ne brings drama. They let Ne Ne go to quick, they knew COVID-19 would have an affect on the show's quality ( drama, storylines, etc.). They should have kept Ne Ne so they could still have drama even though COVID-19 is existent, because I pretty sure had Ne Ne been on season 13 there would be more drama. I know Ne Ne may be a little difficult for production but Ne Ne would have brought a lot of drama for season 13. It seems like the main issue this season is lack of drama. Also, Ne Ne's fans have already signed a petition with over 5,000 signatures to stop watching RHOA. So, I wouldn't be surprised if rating dropped. It's bad enough season 11 and 12 had the lowest ratings in years.

Marlo is Kenya's friend again. If you remember Nene and Kenya were initially friends when Kenya came season 5. Marlo had already been established as Nene's permanent friend and slave. Nene ultimately sided with Porsha during her feud with Kenya. Marlo however was realizing that Nene may have gotten her on and been the original it girl but it got her only so far. Marlo chose to still befriend Kenya during the fight. We all know how possessive and petty Nene is. Nene cut Marlo off for befriending Kenya. Marlo did not appear in season 7, Nene's last season. However, she appeared in season 8 and 9. Both seasons in which NENE DID NOT HAVE A PEACH. Those 2 episodes she guest starred in did not include Nene. However, Marlo reappeared on the arm of Kenya as a new changed woman. Marlo was actually trying to get Kenya and Sheree to be friends. Sheree is Nene's enemy and Marlo and Sheree hated each other and fought all the way till the end. They magically appear together and Kenya and Sheree are picking up the Chateau Sheree shade Nene started right where it left off, which was before Kenya even appeared on the show. It was as if Kenya essentially replaced Nene. When Nene came back, season 10, Marlo officially became a FRIEND for the first time. She was a GUEST until then despite us assuming the former. That is the only reason why Marlo turned on Kenya again to show grace and keep that friend spot. Marlo once again went against Nene and befriended Cynthia during the Cynthia/Nene feud. Nene in true fashion, walked out on her at the restaurant. Marlo keeps up the act with Kenya around Nene at the same time we see her launch a real business finally and get actual family members on the show with her own small storyline. Once again a comeback. Marlo still being a friend this season WITHOUT NENE proves, when you put in work, it will eventually pay off, no matter how dirty the work or how little the payoff. Marlo doesn't need to be a reader, Kenya and Porsha have that covered. They need a pot stirrer and Marlo was not friends with Nene and Kenya for wig tips, they all share a very shady, petty, spiteful and messy common bond matched by few that keeps these shows, the oldest at 16 seasons (RHOC) come next year, going. Marlo is going nowhere anytime soon. She will eventually get a peach before it's all said and done. It will literally be the biggest RAGS TO RICHES story in HW history. BAD GIRLS CLUB graduating to REAL HOUSEWIVES is what's going to give this show another 10 years.
