Gizelle father passing away hits different. We have lost our mother and grandmother. This feeling is REAL heavy and deep. No matter what show, and who is doing the most losing a parent is extremely difficult. Condolences to Gizelle and her family. Candiace is not changing her stance despite the circumstances. The show WILL continue however, we will see less of certain cast members going forward. Only DNA can put to bed assumptions about who’s the father. That’s next season as for Dr. O and NNEKA that’s gonna get worse before it gets better.

When RHOP first aired it was so enjoyable to watch. As the years passed, there’s so much toxicity that it’s not enjoyable anymore. There are too many cliques and it’s gotten to the point where they can’t stand one another and it’s sad! 😞 I’m going to miss Candiace though but I’m happy she’s taking a break to regroup, especially the way she and Chris were treated by some of them!

It’s impossible to get back to old rhop. The thing that it’s missing is something you can only ever attain from the start of a franchise running this type of social experiment, and then you need to start again. That’s why there’s so many franchises. Like… if I think about it… Ashley was still evil, so was Gizelle, but you had people clapping back, it felt fresh before. You could tell clap backs came from standing one’s ground with conviction, but also a bit of playfulness where you knew you could go there with someone because there was forgiveness. But I feel like the effect, which I see as indifference from one cast member to another, the refusal to engage with them period, is a cumulative effect. Like if someone is ramping up their evil over and over and over again, you burn out and there’s nothing to be had because it’s not worth it, the person will never change, and engaging only gives them the power of your reaction. There’s no forgiveness because it’s not about care it’s about a power struggle. That’s why I can totally understand candiace leaving. I would never ever engage with someone like gizelle Robyn or Ashley in earnest. Trust your intuition because narcissists work in conspiracy and have extremely jaded motives, so twisted that it would be easier to be called crazy than taking them to be true, because that would mean ALOT of people in the world can be capable of evil and it’s easier to presume the world is safe. It’s not. It’s full of gizelle, Ashelys, and Robyns. And they’re being rewarded for it. Garbage.

Candiace is taking a break, but I feel she was bullied out by Gizelle. Gizelle has made awful comments about almost everyone on the show, many of which have been accusatory and bordering on defamation. Yet, when comments are made in response to her accusation she actively ices them out. Oddly Gizelle seems to believe she is superior and it shows in her disgusting behaviour and negative attitude. She has single handedly reduced the cast to an absolute toxic mess. As someone who has watched since day 1, I have no interest in watching after this season.

Disappointed that Candiace is quitting but glad to hear about Robin’s demotion from the show. I don’t even like Gizelle but I do think she deserves her spot on the show. Mia is definitely growing on me. Nneka seems authentic but needs to bring a little more of a storyline next season. Love Wendy but she needs to be more accepting of Nneka. Karen is the Queen ⭐️ . Reading some of the comments, some people CLEARLY don't know what colorism means. 🤦🏾 Colourism : prejudice or discrimination especially within a racial or ethnic group favoring people with lighter skin over those with darker skin So when they (Gizelle and Robyn) called Wendy aggressive when Mia is the one who threw the drink in Wendy's face. Also when Robyn has tried to fight Monique, Ashley and Wendy, but not once been called aggressive, that IS colorism. When some in the viewing audience want to call out Wendy and Candiace because they react to people coming for them (or their family) as if they weren't justify, that's colorism. When Ashley has been messy as hell from day one, has also been in it with several people, who also has a mouth on her, but is given a pass by some, just might be colorism. As Candiace has said, the line keeps moving. It's like Ashley, Gizelle, Mia and Robyn can do and say certain things, but if Wendy or Candiace does it, the hate comes out. Finally they (Gizelle and Robyn) were referring to themselves as the "green-eyed bandits", Candiace changed it to monsters. She first called Gizelle the "Gizelle monster", which had squat to do with her skin color, but her shadiest. I'm not a dark-skinned sister, but I do know what colorism is and can acknowledge it when i see it.
