In my opinion, Lisa protects Tom a lot because of the business, but I feel like Tom manipulated Lisa in some way too because despite everything that happened, she does care about him and his well-being. However, I think she talked to Lala and Scheana because their podcasts' content was focused on Scandoval at that time. So when she said back off, I believe she meant it in that context. Notice Lisa didn't approach James, Katie or Ariana about this subject yet. I loved seeing Graham and James reunited because it showed a softer side to James.

How many times have we heard after someone committed suicide I wish they said something. I wish they confided in people, that is what he did. It starts with lending an ear and listening that includes your friends and not just the "professionals" Lisa is a mama bear and there is nothing wrong with what she did. What Tom did was unforgivable for Ariana no one outside that relationship should take on that burden. You can hold separate relationships with two people that used to be in a union it happens all the time. Ariana setting those limitations with her friends is putting pressure on them and they are not "equipped" to choose friendships. As an outsider I still cant wrap my head around them living together. If I had disdain for someone like Tom I would not share a space that is supposed to be my safety zone. A home is a stable foundation, it provides peace and comfort. Its time to move on.

The girls on this show are so mean-spirited and awful. I remember finding it entertaining when I was younger cause I never took it seriously but I’m twenty four now and I could never imagine treating people the way they have. She didn't threaten to kill herself if he left. She told him that if they broke up that her life in LA will be over. He knew exactly what she was saying because it was a long conversation that they had. She explained this in one of the few interviews she did on call her daddy and she's not lying. He lied to turn the narrative and to make her seem crazy and to weaponize her mental health. He also used to play the victim, which is still doing. His Nick Viall podcast was horrible, it was nothing but gaslighting and playing the victim. Now he does the article with NYT and he is still acting like this was all done to him. He knew that she had suffered from suicidal ideation in the past because she talked about it on the show. She is not trying to have control over him, she is simply protecting herself and her investment.

It's not that he just cheated. It was how he went about it as well. He did it during the time she was dealing with two deaths and it happened in her home while she was in the bed she shared with Tom. It's also his reaction after the fact that is so disturbing. The way he keeps trashing her over and over again is part of the problem. He can't accept any responsibility and is mad at everyone else for his own actions. People love to give second chances but first you have to be sorry and your actions need to show that.
