Shep and Whitney being like "Paige should be here" when they've never HAD to truly work a day in their lives because they have sufficient family wealth is so annoying. Meanwhile Paige has a real job (her podcast) and can't travel at the drop of the hat, because she's a regular person. Was it poor planning on Craig's part to schedule a get to know Paige trip without asking her for her availability first? Absolutely. Does it suggest anything negative about the strength of Paige & Craig's long term relationship that she couldn't travel to Jamaica with less than a week's notice? Not in the slightest.

It feels like this was supposed to be a Craig and Paige versus everyone else type of season. Taylor came in seemingly out of nowhere with her “ratchet girl summer” that’s going into fall and winter, and everyone has shifted focus away from Craig and Paige’s relationship. There is absolutely nothing wrong with their relationship that would necessitate Shep and Whitney having this conversation.

It’s appalling that in this day and age we dismiss Shep’s behavior as “adorable”- Taylor is suffering from years of ongoing NARCISSISTIC ABUSE, as well as other forms of mental, emotional, & verbal abuse. I would imagine she has PTSD and other mental health issues as a result of Shep’s control, devaluation, and gaslighting. And this is based only on what we see on camera. 😢 I wish people (esp. other women) would have more compassion and less judgment. Remember earlier seasons when ol’ T. Rav did the same thing to Kathryn Dennis? Everyone villainized her until long afterwards, when he faced legal charges for abuses less easily ignored. I hope Taylor can heal, but I definitely think she needs a therapist trained in ptsd from being in an abusive relationship, and a better support network of real friends. I can’t imagine being on the show is doing anything positive for her mental health and healing ❤ :(

My impression and opinion is that Taylor talked like she and Jesus could change Shep because she did not even notice she was in an abusive relationship with him till the other cast members told her. Maybe Taylor has confusion in her religion and don't understand a fairy god mother granting wishes and religion are two different things. Now she has to film with him. which prevents her from healing but, obviously she needs to money since she quite her career job because of Shep.
