I grew very fond of Taj when I found out she went back to school and earned a college degree after SWV disbanded, which is highly unusual for someone who had reached so much success in the music industry. It showed a lot of maturity and dedication. The fact that she tried to be the mediator between LaTocha and Tamika is entirely consistent with my impression of her and she took LaTocha to see a picture of Xscape in the museum to remind her what it was like at the beginning is very thoughtful of her

5:15 Shout out to Coko for breaking down the barriers and taboos surrounding MENTAL HEALTH❕As a person who also grew up in a black Christian household, many black religious parents feel like you can just go to church ⛪️ and pray about your problems and that’s it, which is both impractical and deeply problematic. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Ahhh… actually God gave us doctors 👨🏽‍⚕️🩺 and medicine to use for our benefit, and we seem to feel comfortable using doctors for everything else except for mental health, which is sometimes sadly, what keeps us from functioning and peaking at our fullest potential. 🤷🏽‍♂️😐

I love this scene with Coko. It’s so “normal” to be so enraged enough to wanna harm somebody that we don’t realize that it’s actually NOT “normal” at all and absolutely harmful to our own mental health to feel and think so negatively. I hope that people can become more comfortable seeking help or with talking about these feelings because it’s easier to keep it to oneself or to let things pile up but it actually feels better to address it and free yourself of it.
