Lyndsey had every right to be concerned - the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour, until something else in the form of action rather than words comes to the fore. I totally see where Lindsay is coming from. It feels like Carl is trying to activate her so he can find the QUICKEST excuse to exit. He wants HER to be the one to end it so he looks good instead of owning that he's just not feeling it. Carl truly is in the wrong here, despite Lindsay's issues.

I agree with you 100%. Well said! I'm so glad to see reasonable people in the comments section. Amanda doesn't help Kyle with the business, even though she knows they have debts. And at the most difficult time, when Kyle asks Amanda for help and to be more involved in «Loverboy», she tells him that she wants to do something for herself. Amanda is so SELFISH. Does Amanda realize that she lives on the money that Kyle earns by running a family business that needs help getting rid of debts? Amanda started talking to Kyle disparagingly from the second season of Summer House. And she continues to talk to him disparagingly in front of other people and behind Kyle's back. In season six, she was so full of hatred for Kyle before their wedding that I was very surprised that they got married after all. Kyle is a great guy and so funny and hardworking. Kyle is the reason I started watching the show! Kyle needs to sort out the things that connect him with Amanda. Kyle needs to divorce her! I'm so tired of her. She's so selfish and doesn't appreciate Kyle. She talks to him disparagingly all the time, even in front of other people in the room. She doesn't love him!

I think Carl spent a lot of time indecisive about his future and Lindsay was pretending to be the loving partner that would allow him endless space to figure it out. But she’s not that type and she tried to keep it up. So Carl got comfortable with the endless indecision and Lindsay got more and more annoyed with him. @@chamobot she never pretended to give him endless space. He even admits in this episode that they agreed that he would have a job by labor day. She’s supported him in all his ideas until now including (but I’m sure not limited to) starting a podcast, motivational speaking, working with loverboy, working with the other alcohol company. The only thing she’s said no to is the sober bar and that was an outrageously awful idea lol. She even supported him trying to get into acting at one point but I think she only did that cos she loved him lol. You can’t blame her for finally running out of patience as labor day approached and Carl showed that he is absolutely nowhere NEAR a decision. She even supported him going back to loverboy but she just wanted him to be sure he was going back for the right reasons especially since he told her how awful Kyle was to him there and how much he hated it. The fact is Carl has never stuck to a decision and Lindsay was about to marry him so it’s completely natural for her to want him to be confident and sure in his next career

@@vburge7481 I mean I don't disagree with most of that. Alot of that represents what Carl should take accountability for. I also don't 'blame' Lindsay for anything. Like I said, I think they're both very incompatible. My only point was, I think Lindsay doesn't realize how prickly and judgmental she can seem, even if it's not what she feels. I mean the judgement oozes out of her, and I can tell she's trying to hold it in but it escapes her every now and again. Every other cast member, as well as all her exes on the show, have had that problem with her. When you make an effort for her, if you haven't read her mind and done it in the exact way she wants, she has an attitude even if it's what she asked you to do. So when Carl brings loverboy to her for the second/third time, clearly excited about that prospect and wanting to be respectful of her patience and just make a decision that results in a stable job, and she takes a dig at him for making a 'comfortable' choice and 'going back to a bad ex', I can see why he would feel unsupported. not to say she didn't have a point. I'm saying they both played a role.
